Who we help? How we help? When we help? Why we help!

Pine2pink's Success results in helping others

When we launched three years ago, one of our goals was to take the guess work out of giving.
When people donate we want them to know who their donation helps, when it helps and how it helps… total transparency!

The tenets of our non-profit are to — keep all the money local — give 100% to the people who need it — be transparent – and put the funds to immediate use.

A great deal of our success derives from the Communities we partner with. We started in Doylestown and over the last three years have expanded to New Hope, Carversville, Peddler’s Village, Thompsonville (The Thompson Dealership) and Perkasie.

Along side our amazing local health care providers (Doylestown Cancer Institute, Grandview Health and Fox Chase Cancer Center Buckingham), local businesses and retailers and residents across Bucks County, Pine2Pink has worked tirelessly to make sure the lives of our local friends, family and neighbors battling breast cancer are supported during their caner journey… treatment, recovery and beyond.

We are so proud to be able to share our collaborative successes:

  • To date we’ve raised over a quarter of a million dollars.
  • We’ve started and funded 10 programs ranging from cold capping to out-of-pocket expense relief (as in we’ve paid patient’s rent, car payments, bills, etc), provided integrative services through Unite for Her, offer a patient food delivery service, purchased items that make up comfort bags for newly diagnosed patients and help pay for patient treatment transportation. We’ve even purchased a new fleet of state-of-the-art infusion chairs for the Doylestown Cancer Institute.
  • We’ve helped nearly 1,000 local breast cancer patients to date.
  • We’ve secured over 75 sponsors who have pledged $1,000 to $15,000.
  • We’ve partnered with over 150 local business and retailers
  • We’ve changed over 3,000 lights pink during the month of October.
  • We’ve co-hosted events that have garnered tens of thousands of dollars
  • We’ve become a portal for locals to channel their giving.
  • We’ve created an interactive, visceral way for people to participate for a prolonged period as Pine2Pink runs the entire month.
  • We’ve ignited local commerce amongst retailers through our Pine2Pink virtual scavenger hunt app.

And we’ve only just begun!

This October marks our 4th year and we are expanding with more lights, more events, more fun and more beneficiaries! Make sure to keep current through our website and our social media!

As we look to the future our giving will expand. This year we are adding to our Bucks County beneficiaries by supporting the Corinne Sikora Wellness and Support Center. This Center is opening in November in Furlong and is FREE to all Bucks County based cancer patients. The Center is able to offer free services and support because of organization like ours, along with local residents, making contributions big and small. You can help and learn more, here.

This year, Pine2Pink created a new Presenting Sponsor category and long time support Allied Mortgage Group stepped up as our 2021 Presenting Sponsor. Allied continues to be a massive supporter of local non-profits helping those in need through Pine2Pink and beyond!
As we look to 2022, Pine2Pink excitingly plans to expand our footprint as we eye Newtown and Sellersville.

We hope you have enjoyed this update and we remain humble, grateful, dedicated and committed to doing all we can to improve the lives of our cancer patients and to making sure they know they’re not alone!
