Woman Bitten By Dog, Wallet Stolen: Plumstead Township Police Report
Township police reported the following incidents from August 3 to 5:
PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between August 2 and August 5:
August 2
At 9:12 a.m., officers responded to Camp Ockanickon for a theft report. When officers arrived, they met with the complainant who said that she left her wallet in the bathroom and upon return, the wallet was gone. An air tag that was located inside the wallet was removed and found in a nearby bush. At this time no leads to identify the actor.

At 9:33 p.m., officers investigated a call for an animal complaint on River Birch Road. A woman reported that she had sustained minor injuries from a dog bite. Police spoke with the owner of the dog and a dangerous dog form was completed and the proper protocol for quarantine was followed.
August 3

At 7:30 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Silo Hill Road. Upon speaking with the operator, the officer detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana. The operator Nickolas Shannon, 30, of Philadelphia, was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and a citation was
filed.
August 5
At 1:37 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Swamp Road and Route 611 on the operator of a gray Hyundai Sonata. Upon speaking with the driver, the officer detected the strong odor of marijuana and the odor of an alcoholic beverage. The operator, Brian Jones, 47, of Doylestown, was unable to satisfactorily perform field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.
