A Quakertown woman has been charged with assault after police say she hit a nursing home patient last month and caused "bodily harm."
The incident happened at a Doylestown Borough nursing home on Feb. 17, police said. Paula Anne Applegate, 69, is facing simple assault charges. The charges were filed March 20 by Central Bucks Regional Police Department, court records show.
