Woman Killed After Tree Falls On Camper In Bucks Co.

Her husband, who was also in the camper when the accident occurred, sustained scrapes when he was thrown from the vehicle, officials said.

MILFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — A 69-year-old woman was crushed to death Saturday night when a tree fell on her camper in Bucks County.

The incident was reported at the Quakerwoods Campground on Rosedale Road in Milford Township.

Cynthia Cousins was pronounced dead at 10:35 p.m. by the Bucks County Coroner's Office. The coroner has ruled the death accidental.

The Pennsylvania State Police Dublin Barracks responded to the scene at 11:43 p.m. to assist both fire department personnel and EMS with a large tree, approximately 94 inches in diameter,
that had fallen onto the camper.

State Police were unsure at this time why the tree fell.

Troop M Forensic Services Unit, Milford Township Fire Department and the Bucks County Coroner’s Office also assisted at the scene.
