Y’s New Outdoor Space to Honor Eiseman

The community is invited to the official celebration event scheduled for October 8 at 9:30AM.

Central Bucks Family YMCA is pleased to announce the creation of the Phil Eiseman Memorial Garden and Community Gathering Place. The new space already serves as an outdoor social space for members, families, friends and the community. The community is invited to the official celebration event scheduled for October 8 at 9:30AM.

Mr. Eiseman, founder of Eiseman Construction Company in Doylestown, was a previous Y Board Member, widely regarded for his integrity and the respect he showed his customers, family and community. He passed away in January 2015.

The concept and design for the Phil Eiseman Memorial Garden was inspired by his wife, Melissa, in collaboration with and support from Christine and Chuck Gale of Gale Nurseries. Central Bucks Family YMCA President/CEO Zane Moore and the members of the Buildings and Grounds Committee are grateful for the opportunity to honor Phil and his service to the Y.

The new outdoor area will serve as a social space for Y members and the Doylestown community. The area currently offers music along with access to Chambers 19 café inside the Y building. The garden includes benches and picnic table with seasonal bistro umbrellas for outdoor gatherings.

A fountain also adorns the space to honor beloved long time Y member, Anita Nyari, who passed away in December 2015. Y member Betty DeAngelis, who passed away in 2016, will also be recognized at the event as well.
