'Not be enough to kill:' DuBois woman charged in 2024 overdose death of boyfriend, PD says (wjactv.com) — A DuBois woman is now charged in Clearfield County in connection with her boyfriend’s fatal overdose in August 2024, after investigators say toxicology tests showed multiple drugs, including fentanyl and methamphetamine. Police allege she supplied drugs beforehand and later downplayed the risk, and she now faces homicide and related charges following her recent arraignment.
3. Washington Township Rollover Crash Results in Minor Injuries and Citation for Driver (explorejeffersonpa.com) — A Brookville woman was treated at Penn Highlands DuBois after a rollover crash on Stevenson Hill Road in Washington Township, Jefferson County, leaving her with suspected minor injuries. State police from the DuBois barracks say her Jeep hit an embankment and overturned, and she was cited for failing to drive on the right side of the road.
4. 11th Annual Frank Varischetti All-Star Football Game to be Held June 26 (gantnews.com) — DuBois football fans can cheer on local standout Trey Wingard in the 11th annual Frank Varischetti All-Star Game on Friday, June 26 in Brockway.
