• American Cancer Society's 2026 Mr. Gridiron Contest Is Underway (gantnews.com) — DuBois football players Seth Wilmoth, Adam Drahushak, Dalton Reasinger, and Joey Ruscitti are among the nominees in this year’s Mr. Gridiron fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Through October 19, you can vote with donations at local businesses or CNB in DuBois, helping support cancer research, patient housing, and rides to treatment. 
• PSP: Mother charged for helping son escape work release program in DuBois (wjactv.com) — State police say a man walked away from his work-release job at Novo Health Services in DuBois on September 21, and investigators believe his mother helped him escape. She allegedly picked him up in a PT Cruiser and is now charged with aiding his escape, while he remains wanted on additional federal drug-related warrants.
