• Connellsville man charged with attempted homicide (heraldstandard.com) — A late-night disturbance on Lowery Drive in Dunbar led to serious charges after a man allegedly fired multiple shotgun rounds outside his ex-girlfriend’s home, with one shot narrowly missing someone. Police say he was arrested, denied bond, and remains in Fayette County jail awaiting a May 20 preliminary hearing on attempted homicide and related counts.
