Her achievement highlights both exceptional academics and record-setting play that helped lead ESU volleyball to a conference title and its first-ever NCAA Tournament victory. 
• United States of America v. Dimitris Smith, Jr. (morelaw.com) — A federal case tied to a fatal fentanyl overdose in East Stroudsburg has resulted in a prison sentence for a Whitehall man with prior drug convictions. Prosecutors say he supplied the dose that killed a 38-year-old woman in 2023 and later sold fentanyl and cocaine to an undercover officer while on supervised release, leading to additional prison time.
