Easton Changes Athletic Ticket Prices
Season ticket prices are cheaper at Easton athletic events, but door tickets cost more.
Good news for season ticket holders for sports: It will now cost you a dollar less to see next year's wrestling matches and football/baseball games.
Bad news for people who buy their tickets one game at a time at the entrance gates: It's going to start costing you more.
That's all under a new ticket price structure approved Tuesday by the Easton Area School Board.

The district has been taking steps in the last few months to raise revenue and cut costs for its sports teams. Earlier this year, the district asked local cable companies to pay more to .
And athletic Director James Pokrivsak made several changes last month to the sports programs -- such as taking fewer students to away games, and having players pay for equipment and physicals -- in order to and track teams.

The latest change lowers the price of season tickets for wrestling and football from $6 per game to $5 per game, or a $25 package. Basketball tickets would be $50 for 10 games.
The cost for tickets at the gate, meanwhile, would go up from $5 to $6. And senior citizens, who previously got in for free, would pay $3, the same rate as Easton students.
