Journalist Gwen Ifill Will Give Lafayette Commencement Address

Gwen Ifill, moderator of the PBS news/public affairs program Washington Week, will give commencement address this year, the school said Thursday.

Ifill, who has covered six presidential campaigns, also reports for the PBS Newshour. She is the author of The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama.

Lafayette's 176th graduation will take place Saturday, May. 21.
