📰 News we're reading

• New Shluchim to Serve Jewish Students at Lafayette College (crownheights.info) — Jewish students at Lafayette College and residents of Easton are getting new Chabad representatives, Rabbi Sadya and Chanale Liberow, who plan to build a warm, home-like hub for Jewish life. They'll support students' spiritual needs, host celebrations, and connect with the wider Lehigh Valley Jewish community. Their work aims to expand existing Jewish programming and personal support on and around campus.

• Palmer Township considers potential liquor license for Rutter's (wfmz.com) — Palmer Township officials are weighing whether to let a new Rutter's convenience store sell beer and wine and are also updating development rules that could shape future growth near Easton. Supervisors heard details on a modernized land development ordinance and a proposal to join a regional Easton planning partnership while postponing final decisions. These moves could influence traffic, development, and funding across neighboring communities.
