Easton's first 'green' parking lot is planned behind new planetarium (lehighvalleylive.com) — Easton's Nurture Nature Center has secured a $350,000 grant to turn its Pine Street lot behind the new planetarium into the city's first "green" parking area. Planned features include native plantings, stormwater controls, solar lighting, bike racks, and a demonstration food garden, giving residents a more sustainable, educational space as the Earth & Sky Dome theater moves toward a 2028 opening.
   

2. Warrant issued for man in Easton retail theft (newportdispatch.com) — Police in Easton have issued an arrest warrant after more than $300 in groceries and merchandise were reportedly stolen from the Weis Markets on Sullivan Trail in August. Officers say a 37-year-old man with prior retail theft convictions is wanted, and they're asking anyone with information to contact Forks Township Police or submit an anonymous Crimewatch tip.
   

3. Taste of Bacon Fest preview in Easton offers early look at PA Bacon Fest 2026 (lehighdaily.com) — Easton food lovers just got an early taste of what's coming to downtown this November, as a sold-out preview at the State Theatre showcased creative bacon dishes and drinks from local vendors. The Greater Easton Development Partnership used the event to fine-tune offerings for PA Bacon Fest, which will again fill Centre Square with food, music, and thousands of visitors Nov. 7–8.
   

4. Review: Martina McBride mesmerizes Easton, Pennsylvania, with powerhouse vocals (truehollywoodtalk.com) — Fans at Easton's State Theatre just experienced a powerhouse Martina McBride concert, celebrating the venue's 100th season with a set packed with her biggest hits and emotional ballads. The reviewer praises her connection with the Easton crowd and argues her long, acclaimed career shows she deserves a spot in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
