If you ever thought marching band was for slackers, think again. What looks effortless in September and October takes hundreds of hours of practice to perfect.

With 10 days left before school starts, the EAHS Marching Band is practicing hard daily, making the most of what's left of summer vacation.

We caught those marching Rover musicians in action late Thursday afternoon, patiently working through the routines of the coming season and honing the 2011 show to perfection.
