Wilson Boys Lose Tough OT Game to Saucon Valley
Last minute basket misses, sends Panthers to Championships

Evently matched and with the score only reflecting small errors by either team, Tuesday's contest was no exception. Although Saucon Valley took an early lead, the Warrior team settled down and changed the pace of their game, moving the ball effectively around the perimeter to look for the open shot. Excellent performance in pulling down rebounds and shooting from the perimeter allowed them to rally to a tied score at half-time (22-22).
In the second half, Saucon once again came out strong, outscoring Wilson 9-6 in the third period. However, the team struggled with making baskets in the fourth period, creating opportunties for Wilson. Excellent shooting by Wilson allowed the team to close the gap on the Panthers. With 22 seconds left, Wilson's Gerald Terry tipped a ball over the outstretched arms of Saucon's Eric Frans which bounced around the rim and took a lucky bounce into the basket. Although Saucon had time to make a winning basket, a series of fumbled shots resulted in the game going into overtime play.
