• Resurfacing project aims to permanently repair washout along section of Ghost Town Trail (wjactv.com) — Work is underway beneath the West High Street Bridge in Ebensburg to test a new, erosion-resistant surface on the Ghost Town Trail where stormwater has caused washouts for over a decade. Funded by a $20,000 state grant, the project could permanently stabilize this trouble spot, cut maintenance costs, and make Ebensburg’s popular trail the first in Pennsylvania to use this material.
