• Pittsburgh suspect Elijah Hemingway allegedly sexually assaulted woman hours before doctor's killing (amedpost.com) — Authorities say the Edgewood-area crime that killed pediatrician Dr. Idris Evans and critically injured his wife came just hours after suspect Elijah Hemingway allegedly sexually assaulted and robbed a woman on a Wilkinsburg path. Investigators describe how evidence, victim accounts, and Hemingway's conflicting statements connect the earlier assault to the deadly home invasion at the family's Edgewood home, where the couple's children fled to safety.
