Supporters say the .55-mill levy would stabilize funding, expand hours and programs, and reduce constant fundraising, while some officials want more details on how the money would be divided among libraries. 
• Mobile hygiene and medical clinic in danger of closing by June 30 without new funding (lancasteronline.com) — A mobile hygiene and medical clinic that once stopped in Elizabethtown is at risk of shutting down by June 30 unless it raises $100,000. Now limited to Lancaster city because of funding cuts, the free clinic has served hundreds of unhoused and low-income residents, offering showers, clean clothes, and basic medical care. Its future could affect whether similar services ever return to Elizabethtown.
