Lehigh Valley Bat Works Opens New Facility

Lehigh Valley Bat Works will be having a Grand Opening Celebration at their new East Allen Township Facility (6583 Ruch Rd. Bethlehem PA 18017) this Saturday 12/1 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Lehigh Valley Bat Works is a wood baseball bat manufacturing company that works with everybody from T-ball all the way through the professional ranks.

The company, founded two years ago by Steve Toth, is very excited to be expanding into a facility large enough to house their manufacturing as well as an indoor hitting area to try out bats.

“We are thrilled to get into a space that gives us the ability to have players come to us and hit year round” he said.

The staff which has experience in both engineering and the game of baseball offers many services that many of the major manufacturers simply do not offer the general public.

“We come from an engineering background where we can customize wooden bats much in the same way golfers get clubs customized,” he said.

“Right now the world of baseball is going through a change where organizations are starting to go back to wooden bats,” said Toth.

This is led by all Pennsylvania Legion baseball teams switching to wood bats for the 2013 season.

As his business has built up a reputation, he said he's already done work for everyone from local little league players, to minor league players around the nation and ball players in Japan and the Dominican Republic.

The facility is located at 6583 Ruch Road, East Allen Township. Toth said one of the perks of the location is that it is near the Lehigh Valley International Airport and the Bicentennial Park baseball fields.
