Last Day for Yard Waste Collection

From April through November, yard waste will be collected curbside by Public Works personnel on Mondays and Thursdays, except holidays. Yard waste must be placed at the curb in  compost/earth bags, available for purchase for $1 each at Wentz's Hardware Store, 225 Main Street. Yard waste is limited to organic biodegradable materials such as grass, leaves, hedge trimmings, leafy plants and small sticks and twigs (bags contaminated with stones or trash will not be accepted).
