📰 News we're reading
• Soiled walls, encrusted grease, and other Lehigh County restaurant inspections for Sept. 28 - Oct. 4 (newsbreak.com) — Several Emmaus food businesses were cited in late-September inspections for dirty floors and walls, soiled restrooms, improper food storage, and equipment that needs better cleaning, though issues were generally low to moderate priority. Before your next meal out in town, you can see which Chestnut Street and Cedar Crest Boulevard spots had violations and what inspectors found so you can make informed choices.
• Nazareth girls soccer takes down fellow unbeaten Emmaus with penalty kick by Kilareski (lehighvalleylive.com) — Emmaus High School's unbeaten girls soccer run ended with a 1-0 loss at Nazareth, decided by a second-half penalty kick after a foul in the Hornets' box. Emmaus, now 14-1, still has key late-season games ahead against Neshaminy, Whitehall, and Parkland that local fans may want to follow closely.
