PennDOT, Police, District's Attorney's Office to Partner for Labor Day Crackdown
Details were expected to be unveiled by Wednesday.

PennDOT, the Chester County District Attorney’s office, state and municipal police departments, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and Main Line Health’s Paoli Hospital and Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital are teaming together to develop a Labor Day crackdown on drunk-driving.
As part of the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” effort, Pennsylvania’s enforcement will focus on drivers impaired by alcohol, as well as drugs through the Labor Day Holiday on Sept. 1. Details were expected to be unveiled by Wednesday.
In 2013, there were 11,023 alcohol-related crashes in Pennsylvania with 369 fatalities in those crashes, and 3,267 drug-related crashes statewide resulting in 143 fatalities.
