The new George Wolf Public Education awards will be given annually to individuals and groups who have demonstrated a significant and long-term advocacy for the mission of public education in the Easton area community. The award is named in honor of Easton resident attorney, Postmaster and 7th Governor of the Commonwealth, George Wolf. Governor Wolf is considered the father of Pennsylvania’s public school system.
