Emmaus woman lost control on curve in Upper Milford Township, troopers report.

An Emmaus woman was fortunate to escape a recent wild ride and rollover crash in Upper Milford Township, according to police.

Kourtney C. Kellar, 19, was westbound on S. Fifth Street approaching Plainview Drive at 10:46 a.m. March 12 when she lost control on a curve, according to state police at Fogelsville. Kellar's Ford Fiesta crossed the road, plowed over a tree, hit a boulder and rolled onto the driver's side.

Kellar was taken by Macungie Ambulance Corps to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest for treatment of minor injuries, police said.

She was charged with failing to drive at a safe speed, police said.
