Teens Unhurt but BMW Suffers 'Disabling Undercarriage Damage'

State police say driver violated 'driving at safe speed' law in Upper Milford mishap.

The two Bucks County teens driving on Dillingersville Road in Upper Milford weren't hurt, but their 2001 BMW 530 was -- it suffered "disbaling undercarriage damage" after crossing railroad tracks and bottoming out on a dip in the roadway, police said.

Also, the driver, Christopher Reidler, 19, of Kintnersville was charged with violating the traffic law for "driving vehicle at safe speed," according to state police at Fogelsville.

Reidler and passenger Nathan Johnson, 19, of Perkasie were on Dillingersville approaching Church View Road around 9:30 Thursday morning when the BMW went over railroad tracks. After impacting the roadway dip, the car came to rest facing north on Church View, police said.

Both teens were wearing seat belts, police said. The BMW was towed by Getz's Towing.
