Credit cards are the main missing items in this theft from motor vehicle, troopers report.

Someone recently used the cover of darkness to help themselves to a Cumberland County man's wallet inside a vehicle parked in Upper Milford Township, according to police.

Harvey Hollenbaugh, 63, of Newville reported that his black tri-fold wallet was taken from inside his vehicle between 10:30 p.m. Feb. 27 and 5:30 a.m. Feb. 28, said state police at Fogelsville. That vehicle was parked outside 4283 Chestnut St.

The wallet contained credit cards, police said. There was no stated value.
