• Maryland Man Charged in Hit-and-Run That Seriously Injured 83-Year-Old Woman (mocoshow.com) — Ephrata Police have charged a Maryland man in connection with a serious hit-and-run that injured an 83-year-old woman walking along South Reading Road in Ephrata. Investigators used crash-scene evidence and an online tip to locate a damaged pickup and identify the 64-year-old suspect, who is being held on cash bail and remains presumed innocent.
