• Police Seek Woman on Retail Theft Warrant in Exton (mychesco.com) — Police in Exton are asking for the public’s help locating a 34-year-old woman wanted on an active bench warrant related to retail theft and receiving stolen property charges. West Whiteland officers say the warrant was issued Friday and urge anyone with information to contact the department, reminding residents that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
• GIANT and MARTIN'S Feeding School Kids Initiative Raises $1.2 Million for Local Schools (pennwatch.org) — West Chester Area School District, based in Exton, is receiving $41,034 from GIANT and MARTIN’S Feeding School Kids initiative to support student nutrition programs. The $1.2 million campaign, funded by customer donations and a company contribution, helps districts expand meal access, weekend backpack programs, and other efforts to reduce food insecurity.
• Bob Evans Shuts Down In Oaks, Its Last Store In Region (patch.com) — Residents who once visited the now-closed Bob Evans in Exton will have to travel farther, as the chain’s last remaining southeastern Pennsylvania restaurant in Oaks has permanently shut down. With Exton and Bensalem locations already closed, the nearest Bob Evans is now in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, leaving a noticeable gap for local diners.
