ALDI Brings New Jobs to Pittsburgh

Known for offering wages significantly higher than the industry standard, ALDI will host two hiring events to find 30 employees for its Pittsburgh-area stores, including new South Side and Shadyside locations slated to open this fall. The events will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 21 and Wednesday, Aug. 29.

• 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 29

• 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

 Positions:                           

• Cashiers - $11.75 per hour

• Shift Managers - $16.00 per hour

• Store Manager Trainees - $21.65 per hour

 Job Requirements:         

• Must be 18 years or older to apply

• High school diploma or GED

• Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.

• Retail experience preferred

• Management experience preferred for Manager Trainees

• Store Manager Trainees must be willing to relocate within a 50-mile radius of ALDI upon promotion to Store Manager

• Drug screening and background check

• Ability to lift 45 pounds
