Girls Scouts of Western Pa. is honored to present Elena Mroczkowski with the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest recognition for achievement in Girl Scouts. Elena, daughter of Timothy and Joyce of Forest Hills is a junior at Woodland Hills High School. Elena , an honor student is involved in the St. Maurice youth group, venturing Troop 90,WHHS Images, and Studio G Dance Center. She has been a girl scout for 10 years. Her project was raising funds, building and setting up a reading nook at the St. John Fisher Preschool in Churchill. She will receive her award in an official ceremony in the spring.
