A list of Pittsburgh's 48-Hour Film Project winners, announced July 23 at the Hollywood Theater in Dormont.

  • Best Picture, Best Sound Design, Best Direction, Audience Favorite in its screening group: "South of the City," a comedy by HWIC.
  • Best Special Effects, Audience Favorite in its screening group: "Quack," a fantasy by sgMovieMagic.
  • Best Use of Prop, Audience Favorite in its screening group: "Friendstat," a sci-fi thriller by Everything But The Name.
  • 1st Runner Up, Best Costumes, Best Writing, Best Acting: "The Great American Wild West Adventure," a western by Nightmare Series.
  • Best Cinematography, Best Score, Best Editing: "My Private Eye," a romance by Kunala.
  • Best Use of Character: "Day Dreaming," a film de femme by Mahaffey/Mohr.
  • Best Use of Line: "Walk This Way," a mockumentary by JAMB Chops.
  • Honorable Mention: "The Canned Case," a sci-fi detective story by Render 123.
  • Artistic Integrity Awards: "The Lady Smokes Cools," a period piece by Confluence Productions, and "Loomis," an anniversary/birthday film by Mr. Dream and His Dancers.
