Via Dolorosa Walk

This is the last event in the Lenten Pilgrimage, sponsored by the churches of Swissvale. The Good Friday Via Dolorosa Walk commemorates the path of Jesus carrying his cross to Calvary. Gathering will take place in front of Word of God Parish, St. Anselm RC Church on McClure Avenue. Commencing at 11:30 A.M., participants will walk through Swissvale, carrying a cross and making stops to read selected scripture passages. The walk will conclude at Pittsburgh Mennonite Church. The path is nearly the identical distance of that which Jesus is believed to have followed on the road to Calvary.
