Forest Hills Council Recognizes Spiritworks and the Rotary Club
Two groups join efforts to building a water system in Rwanda.
The regular meeting of the Forest Hills Council on Wednesday night led off with a proclamation for the and for their extensive contributions to build a water system in Urukondo Village, Rwanda.
Accepting for the Rotary were Tom Nunnally and Nina Stahlberg.
Dr. Patricia Brown, founder of Spiritworks, a Forest Hills nonprofit offering spiritual direction, meditation and yoga, got the Rotary involved because of the efforts of her mother, Arlene Brown, who moved to Rwanda and started an orphanage several years ago.
