- A resident on Sharon Drive reported that a deer gave birth in the family’s back yard and was charging at family members when they went outside. Police contacted the Pennsylvania Game Commission, who picked up the deer.
- Police responded to an accident at Ardmore Boulevard and Bevington Road where a vehicle ran into a fence.
- A resident reported a missing firearm. Police are investigating.
- A GPS was stolen overnight from an unlocked vehicle on Berkley Avenue.
May 19
- Police arrested two people after smelling marijuana during a traffic stop along the 2400 block of Ardmore Boulevard. Taun Kirkland, 38, of McKeesport was charged with disorderly conduct for possession of a small amount of marijuana, speeding and driving with a suspended license; and Tomara Watson, 19, of Homewood was charged with disorderly conduct for carrying drug paraphernalia.
- A caller reported that juveniles were throwing rocks at houses. When police got to the scene, the juveniles were gone.

- After seizing an open case of Pabst Blue Ribbon from her car, police charged Seleena Gorman, 19, of McKeesport, with violating liquor laws and speeding. Police said Gorman didn’t appear intoxicated and was safe to drive. According to the police report, the case of beer was later destroyed at the station.
- Police stopped two juveniles lurking around cars on Sumner Avenue. The juveniles told police they lived nearby, and the officer said they weren’t carrying anything suspicious.
May 21
- Police turned over to the Drug Enforcement Agency a case involving a person trying to pick up a fraudulent prescription at the Rite Aid on Yost Boulevard.
- A caller reported that juveniles were skateboarding and causing damage to the child play area in the Howard Hanna parking lot. Officers didn’t note any damage and advised the skateboarders.
- An officer assisted Braddock Hills police with a report of aggressive dogs.

- Police sent a group of 12 teenagers home after finding them engaged in a water canon battle behind the Westinghouse Recreation Center at about 10 p.m.
May 23
- Officers assisted North Braddock police with a home invasion on Brinton Avenue involving gunshots. Police were unable to locate two men who were suspected of breaking into the home.
- A woman called police saying her neighbor trained his leaf blower on her and blew dust and debris her way.
- Police were dispatched to Lennox and Halsey avenues after a resident reported that juveniles were throwing rocks. Officers found no damage and told the resident they would monitor the area.
May 24
- Officers located an elderly woman who walked out of Sarah’s Adult Day Care and transported her back to the facility.
May 25
- A woman reported that her mailbox was stolen overnight.
- Officers told a group of skateboarding juveniles to leave the Thompson Building parking lot after a caller reported that the kids were causing property damage.
May 26
- Police arrested a man for DUI as well as his passenger, who had an outstanding warrant. Howard Brooks, 44, of Wilkinsburg was charged with careless driving and two counts of DUI. Brooks registered a .202 blood alcohol content. His passenger Rejeanna Russell, 36, of East Liberty, was turned over to the Allegheny County Sheriff’s office.
- Officers advised two women to settle a dispute with the magistrate’s office after one called police and asked them to remove her intoxicated friend from her property. Police, who gave the friend a courtesy ride to her sister’s house, said both women were intoxicated and had gotten into similar disputes before.
May 27
- Police assisted Wilkins Township officers in responding to a domestic dispute.
