Patch Local Editor Wins Golden Quill Award

Stephanie Rex, local editor of the Forest Hills-Regent Square Patch, won a Golden Quill Award for Best Writing Online at the 47th annual Golden Quill Awards dinner on Monday night at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh.
Presented by The Press Club of Western Pennsylvania, the awards honor the best in western Pennsylvania journalism. Rex won for her story,
A graduate of Point Park University, she has worked as a reporter for the Butler Eagle and as a freelancer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Valley News Dispatch. She joined Patch last year.
