• Fort Washington flex industrial building has been sold for $50.5M (wissnow.com) — A major flex industrial building at 500 Virginia Drive in Fort Washington has sold for $50.5 million, capping years of upgrades and new amenities. The 325,000‑square‑foot property near the Turnpike and Route 309 is now 85% leased to tenants like Avo Photonics and Honeywell, signaling continued investment and job-supporting activity in the local commercial corridor.
   

• Chabad Lubavitch of Montgomery County Volunteers Serve Up Kindness (jewishexponent.com) — Right in Fort Washington, volunteers at Chabad Lubavitch’s Kitchen of Kindness are cooking, packaging, and delivering hot meals to more than 30 local families each session. Since launching in February, the program has grown into a multigenerational effort that supports neighbors through illness, new babies, financial hardship, and other tough times while strengthening community connections.
   

• Senator Collett Secures $1.3M for Local Parks & Conservation Projects (pasenate.com) — From her Fort Washington office, Senator Maria Collett has announced more than $1.3 million in state conservation grants for local parks and green projects. Nearby communities, including Upper Dublin Township, will see planning and trail work at Twining Valley Park, while other funds support parks in Lansdale, Lower Moreland, Montgomery Township, and broader regional forestry and watershed efforts.
