Haldeman of Frackville were recently issued a marriage license, alongside couples from nearby Schuylkill County communities. The public records list licenses granted between July 28 and August 3, plus several divorces finalized in late July across the region.
   

• Armed Kidnapping Sparks Manhunt For 2 Dangerous PA Fugitives (dailyvoice.com subscription) — Pennsylvania State Police at the Frackville barracks are asking local residents for help finding two men accused of an armed kidnapping and robbery that began in Girardville and continued through Ashland and Schuylkill Haven. The fugitives are considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Frackville barracks or submit an anonymous tip through PSP Tips.
   

• Ashland Crash Investigation Leads to Charges After Man Allegedly Gave False Name to State Police (skooknews.com) — State police from the Frackville barracks charged a Shenandoah man after a late-night crash investigation in Ashland led them to discover he allegedly gave a false name and had suspected methamphetamine paraphernalia. The case, filed this week, includes charges for false identification and drug paraphernalia, with a preliminary hearing set for early September.
