Police: Man attempted to steal microchips, used false ID (republicanherald.com) — State Police say a worker at ID Logistics’ Frackville warehouse tried to leave his overnight shift with a bag holding 10 high-value microchips worth nearly $10,000. Troopers allege he used a false identity to get the job, and he now faces felony theft and related charges, with bail and preliminary hearings set for mid-July.

Camp Hill Man Charged in 2023 Schuylkill County Armed Robbery at Sheppton Mini Mart (skooknews.com) — Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville say DNA evidence has linked a Camp Hill man to a 2023 armed robbery at the Sheppton Mini Mart in East Union Township. After lab testing matched DNA from a glove found near the store, troopers filed multiple felony charges, and a preliminary arraignment is scheduled for July 13 in Schuylkill County.
   

4. Reading Man Accused of Using Woman's Debit Card for More Than $1,300 in Unauthorized Purchases in Schuylkill County (skooknews.com) — Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville have charged a Reading man after a woman’s missing debit card was allegedly used for more than $1,300 in online purchases tied to Schuylkill County. Investigators say subpoenas to companies like Comcast, AT&T, and eBay linked the transactions to the suspect, who is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on July 28.
