• Pedestrian struck and killed by SUV on Interstate 78 in Berks (mcall.com) — Emergency crews from Hamburg responded Friday night after a pedestrian was fatally struck by an SUV on eastbound I-78 in Tilden Township, just west of the Route 61 interchange. State police at Hamburg say the man stepped into the travel lane and was hit, and eastbound lanes were closed for several hours during the investigation.
