Local businesses from Hanover Market House to La Cucina and Lydian Stone Brewing are serving special tastings, with VIP and designated driver tickets supporting Main Street Hanover’s downtown revitalization work. 
• Hanover man allegedly led police on 107-mph chase with child in car (eveningsun.com) — A Hanover Borough resident is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges after an alleged overnight police chase that began near McSherrystown, reached more than 100 mph, and continued into Maryland with a child in the car. Pennsylvania police say the pursuit crossed several Adams County communities before Maryland officers took over and arrested the driver, who is being held while extradition back to Pennsylvania is considered.
• Main Street Hanover Jaws Film Screening (communitymedia.net) — Hanover movie lovers can catch special screenings of Jaws at the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center on August’s 2nd Saturday, with multiple afternoon showtimes and $7 tickets.
