• York County, Pa. armed robbery: Police release photo of involved gun (wgal.com) — Hanover Borough Police are asking for your help identifying a distinctive handgun used in an Oct. 9 armed robbery at a Broadway store, where a man stole cash but didn’t injure anyone. Investigators released a clear photo of the weapon and are urging anyone who recognizes it or knows its owner to contact the department or York County 911.
   

• New Oxford man, 40, killed in Reading Township crash on Sunday (centredaily.com) — A 40-year-old New Oxford man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday evening on Carlisle Pike in Reading Township, just west of Hanover, according to the Adams County coroner. Local fire and EMS companies from across Adams County responded, and authorities ruled the death accidental from multiple blunt force injuries, underscoring ongoing safety concerns on this busy regional roadway.
