$2,500-Plus In Merchandise Stolen From Havertown Lowe's Since December
Over several instances, more than $2,500 in merchandise was taken from the Havertown Lowe's, according to Haverford Township Police.
HAVERTOWN, PA — Retails thefts are plaguing a big box store in Haverford Township, according to police.
Police in Haverford Township have reported numerous thefts, resulting in more than $2,500 in losses, from the Havertown Lowe's over roughly the past month and a half.
The first theft occurred on Dec. 21, 2022.

Police said three people were seen selecting items, mainly Dewalt power tools, rodent traps and door locks, and putting them in a cart.
A value of the items taken was not provided.

Two of the three then left the store and got into a silver Buick sedan.

Then two separate thefts occurred on Dec. 30, 2022.
In one incident, a man stole Bosch and Dewalt power tools valued at $437 from the store, police said.
The male has a tattoo on the right side of his face and left the area in the black crossover SUV.


Another incident on Dec. 30, 2022 saw a man come in and steal two Skil power tools valued at $179.96, according to police.

That same man is suspected of another theft at Lowe's on Jan. 20. Police said in that incident, he took seven cordless power tools and batteries during two separate incidents over the course of one hour.

The total combined value of the stolen merchandise was $853.
Next, a man came into the store and took a Bosch rotary hammer drill worth $549, police said.
The man left through the store's lumber area with the unpaid item, police said.

And the most recent incident occurred Feb. 4.
Police said a male came into the store on two separate occasions and attempted to take rolls of 500 foot wire.


He was stopped by the store's loss prevention officer outside the main entrance and the product was recovered. Both times, he refused to come back into the store.
The total amount taken was $960.10.
