2 Men Facing 21 Theft From Vehicle Charges: Haverford Police
Both suspects were released on $20,000 unsecured bail, court records show.

HAVERFORD, PA – Haverford Township Police arrested and charged two men on June 19 for allegedly stealing from numerous vehicles in the township, police said.
Keshawn Hudson, 22 of Upper Darby, and Ronald Khalil Isaac, 18, of Philadelphia both face 21 counts of theft from a motor vehicle, and one count each of receiving stolen property and loiter/prowling at night, court records show.
Both men have been released on $20,000 unsecured bail, according to court records.

The charges come after police responded to the area of Earlington and Covington roads in the Chatham Park section of Haverford Township at about 4:56 a.m. Monday, June 19 for a report of two males acting suspicious around a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Covington Road, police said.
The subjects, later identified as Hudson and Isaac, were described as two black males, one was dressed in all black clothing and the other male was wearing dark pants with a white shirt, police said.

A witness told police when the suspects saw headlights approaching, they appeared to quickly walk away from the vehicle. Numerous police units responded and began checking the area, police said.
When police arrived on scene, both males were seen walking in the area and they fled upon seeing the marked police unit which led to a brief foot chase through the neighborhood, according to police.
The subjects split up and were observed running through several back yards, police said.
Police then set up a perimeter around the area and were out on foot checking several back yards and streets where the men were observed several times but were able to evade police for about 30 minutes, according to police.
Police eventually located both subjects by doing two separate pedestrian investigations in the area, police said.
The previously mentioned witness was able to identify both males as the subjects acting suspicious around the vehicle in the 500 block of Covington Road, police said.
Officers conducted field interviews of both males separately and they provided inconsistent statements and were unable to provide any valid reason for their behavior, according to police.
During those interviews, police found two Verizon tablets as well as a sock containing a large amount of loose change and cash in a back pack that one of the suspects had, police said.
The subjects were then interviewed by detectives and one of actors admitted they had committed thefts from numerous vehicles in the area, according to police.
Both Isaac and Hudson are scheduled to appear in court for preliminary hearings on July 6, according to court documents.

Residents are reminded to keep vehicles locked at all times and report any suspicious persons, vehicles or incidents to police by calling 911 to have the incident documented.
