3 Haverford Roads Affected By Work This Week
PECO crews will be conducting utility work in the area and that means traffic will be affected by lane closures.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — PECO Energy is planning daytime and overnight lane restrictions on three Haverford Township roads for utility improvement and the impacts will last for a few weeks, PennDOT said.
The work schedule is below:
- Monday, Sept. 16, through Friday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane closures are scheduled on Darby Road between Coopertown Road and Marple Road in Haverford Township, for utility restoration;
- Monday, Sept. 16, through Friday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., flagging operations are scheduled on Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Darby Road and Cedar Grove Road in Haverford and Marple townships, for test hole work;
- Monday, Sept. 16, through Friday, Oct. 4, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, lane closures are scheduled on Ardmore Avenue between U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Haverford Road in Haverford and Lower Merion townships, for utility restoration.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur.
