4 Haverford Roads Affected By Resurfacing Work This Week
Four roads in Haverford Township will see restrictions overnight this week as crews work on a resurfacing project, PennDOT said.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Overnight lane restrictions are scheduled next week on several roads in Haverford Township as part of an improvement project to repair and resurface 47 miles of state highway in Delaware County, PennDOT said.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, Aug. 20, through Friday, Aug. 24, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., lane restrictions are scheduled on Ellis Road/Ardmore Avenue between Lawrence Road and County Line Road in Haverford Township, for milling and paving;
- Monday, Aug. 20, through Friday, Aug. 24, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., lane restrictions are scheduled on Coopertown Road between Darby Road and College Avenue in Haverford Township, for milling and paving;
- Monday, Aug. 20, through Friday, Aug. 24, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., lane restrictions are scheduled on Steel Road between Burmont Road and Drexel Avenue in Haverford Township, for milling and paving; and
- Monday, Aug. 20, through Friday, Aug. 24, from 6: p.m. to 6 a.m., lane restrictions are scheduled on Old West Chester Pike from south of Hilltop Road to Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Haverford Township, for milling and paving.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.
