• 200-Light Drone Show To Illuminate Delco Skies In America250 Celebration (patch.com) — Haverford-area residents can look forward to the Illumination 250 Festival at Haverford High School's football stadium, offering a full day of free family activities on Aug. 29. The celebration of America's 250th birthday in Haverford Township will feature live music, food trucks, local vendors, kids' activities, and a 200-drone choreographed light show after dark.
   

• Montgomery County Places Four Private Golf Clubs in State Rankings (wmmr.com) — Haverford golfers can take pride that Merion Golf Club's East Course in town has been ranked the No. 2 private course in all of Pennsylvania. The statewide Golfweek list also spotlights nearby Aronimink and Rolling Green, underscoring Southeastern Pennsylvania's reputation as a premier golf destination.
