The new store moves into the former Al Pastor space, whose owner says the restaurant closed after receiving a strong purchase offer, while its Exton location continues serving customers.
• Haverford police reports: Victim loses $4,000 bitcoin gold fraud, car parts stolen (delcotimes.com) — Haverford residents are seeing a rash of thefts from unlocked vehicles, with laptops, sunglasses, wallets, and registrations taken across several neighborhood streets. Police also report a $4,000 bitcoin gold fraud, hacked airline miles, retail thefts at local stores, and an assault and public drunkenness case, underscoring the need to lock cars and safeguard personal accounts.
• These 46 Montco Businesses Targeted In Countywide THC Crackdown: DA (dailyvoice.com) — A countywide THC crackdown has reached Haverford, where Rathi Enterprises 2 on West Lancaster Avenue is among dozens of Montgomery County businesses charged with selling illegal THC products. Detectives say they bought high-potency gummies and other items despite prior warnings, and prosecutors now want shops to clear illegal products and keep intoxicating items away from minors ahead of November court hearings.
