Ardmore Ave Restricted Daily Through Late May In Haverford
The closure is part of a PennDOT project to replace two bridges that carry the road over Cobbs Creek and SEPTA's Norristown High-Speed Line.

HAVERFORD, PA — Weekday lane restrictions will be in place on Ardmore Avenue in Haverford now through late May, PennDOT said.
Ardmore Avenue motorists will encounter weekday lane restrictions with flagging between Golfview Road and Haverford Road weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late May, PennDOT said.
PECO will be working on utility line relocation in the area. This required utility work is part of a PennDOT project to replace two bridges that carry Ardmore Avenue over Cobbs Creek and SEPTA’s Norristown High-Speed Line.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

After required aerial utility line relocation work has been completed, Ardmore Avenue will be closed for construction between Darby Road and Haverford Road.
During that closure, Ardmore Avenue drivers will be detoured over Haverford Road, College Avenue and Darby Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.
