Parents in the School District Of Haverford Township can mark the first day of school coming later this summer.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in the Haverford area, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the School District of Haverford Township.
The first day of school is Tuesday, September 6 in the district.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:
- First Day: Tuesday, Sept. 6.
- Thanksgiving Break: Early dismissals Monday, Nov. 21 through Wednesday, Nov. 23; break from Thursday, Nov. 24 through Friday, Nov. 25.
- Winter Break: Monday, Dec. 26 through Monday, Jan. 2, 2023.
- Spring Break: Monday, April 3, 2023, through Friday, April 7, 2023.
- Last Day: Friday, June 16, 2023.
