The Quakers will head to Haverford College on Friday, Sept. 18 for the Main Line Invitational, giving local fans a chance to see top collegiate runners compete nearby.
   

• U.D. officer hit by fleeing dirt bike driver, suffers ankle injury (delcotimes.com) — An Upper Darby highway patrol officer suffered an ankle injury after being struck by a fleeing dirt bike rider, later identified through an iPhone and prior arrest records in Haverford. The suspect, previously out on bail from a Haverford case, now faces aggravated assault and multiple traffic charges and is being held in Delaware County prison pending a mid‑September hearing.
