Catalytic Converter Theft, Vandalism, Fraud: Haverford Crime Blotter

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their weekly crime blotter recently.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between April 6 and April 11.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

  • Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 6 at 8:42 a.m. – An unknown female stole $110.95 worth of groceries.
  • Identity Theft at Eagle Towers, 2300 block of Darby Road, on April 6 at 2:33 pm. – Victim reported that Identity Force notified her that someone used her identity to change her address.
  • Vandalism at the unit block of E. Turnbull Avenue on April 6 at 6:39 p.m. – Victim reported that someone pulled out lights from his mulch bed.
  • Theft at the 300 block of Golf Hills Road on April 7 at 12:06 p.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
  • Vandalism at the 300 block of Harrington Road on April 7 at 9 a.m. – Victim discovered eight to 10 small round holes on the siding of his house.
  • Vandalism at the 100 block of Friendship Road on April 8 at 11:52 a.m. – Side view mirror was knocked off a vehicle.
  • Public Drunkenness at the unit block of Colonial Drive on April 8 at 1:52 a.m. – 25-year-old female, unit block of Colonial Drive was cited for public drunkenness.
  • Liquor Law Violation at the 300 block of Richland Avenue on April 9 at 12:49 a.m. - A 19 and 20-year-old male were cited for underage drinking.
  • Theft at the 200 block of E. Benedict Avenue on April 10 at 4:10 p.m.– Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
  • Fraud at the 700 block of Preston Avenue on April 10 at 4:22 p.m. – Victim reported that his military records were delivered to him via USPS in February. The top of the envelope had been ripped off. On April 4 and April 9, the victim was alerted that someone attempted to make unauthorized Amazon purchases.
  • Vandalism at Veteran's Field, unit block of West Manoa Road, on April 10 at 10:14 a.m. – Graffiti was discovered at the pavilion.
  • Vandalism at the unit block of Fairhaven Road on April 10 at 9:33 a.m. – Residence was egged.
  • Identity Theft at the 700 block of Ardmore Avenue on April 11 at 11:16 a.m. – Victim reported that someone applied for a loan using her identity. She received a check for $20,000 in the mail.

ARRESTS

  • 62-year-old female, 200 block of Stanley Avenue, Havertown. Charges: DUI. Location: Kathmere and Earlington Roads. Date: April 8 at 3:36 p.m.
  • 54-year-old female, 500 block of West Street, Camden, New Jersey. Charges: Identity Theft, access device fraud and forgery. Location: Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union, 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: April 10 at 10:30 a.m.
