Commissioners Approve Parking Changes in Haverford

The Haverford Township commissioners approves the following parking amendments to the township at their meeting on Monday night:

• Establishing a “special purposes parking zone” on the west side of Maple Avenue in front of the entrance to 149 Hastings Avenue

• Prohibiting parking between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. on the south side of E. Manoa Road between Old Manoa Road and Karakung Drive to limit overnight parking in the area

• Prohibiting parking at all times on the east side of Wynnefield Drive in front of 2415 Wynnefield Drive.

• Prohibiting parking of commercial vechicles and trucks over 8,000 lbs at all times on both sides of West Mercer Avenue from Darby Road to Llanerch Avenue.
