Community Rallies Behind Family Of Murdered Haverford Woman

A fundraiser has been launched to support the family of Sabrina Dubose, who was found murdered in Philadelphia after going missing in May.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Sabrina Dubose, 25, went missing May 22. Her body was found Tuesday in a garbage bag in Philadelphia and a 26-year-old man is facing murder and related charges in connection with her death.

Not much longer after she went missing, a GoFundMe campaign was launched to help her family.

But after Tuesday's development the page posted an update, notifying others of her death.

"Please lift her & her family up in prayer as they mourn,"organizers said.

So far, more than $4,750 has been raised of the $10,000 goal.

Kareem Davis-Duppins, 26, of Philadelphia, is charged with criminal homicide, first- and third-degree murder, abuse of a corpse, and related crimes in connection with Dubose's death.

Authorities said he confessed to killing Dubose after being taken into custody Tuesday.
